Fractional CO2 Laser

Our most advanced skin laser treatment.

Suitable for advanced signs of skin damage, this treatment uses a fractional carbon dioxide laser to:

  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
  • Promote smoother, more even skin texture
  • Reduce the appearance of pigmentation
  • Correct signs of advanced ageing

For the greatest improvement, we recommend a course of Fractional C02 Laser treatments combined with our skin conditioning treatments to help prepare the skin - available on Reformaskin.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How does it work?

The laser passes pulses of light down through to the deeper layers of the skin, causing controlled damage to the the cells below and triggering the skin's natural healing process.

This process allows the cells in the basal (deeper) layer to be trained to grow back stronger, firmer and faster, so skin becomes smoother, tighter and more even in tone.*

*Results can vary from person to person and are not guaranteed.

Does it hurt?

It is our priority to ensure you're as comfortable as possible during all of our treatments. Only microscopic areas of the skin are treated at a time, so it's more comfortable than other laser treatments. Most of our clients are happy to have the treatment with a light topical anaesthetic.

What downtime is needed afterwards?

As the treatment involves causing controlled damage to the skin, afterwards, you will notice evenly spaced micro wounds of tiny dots on the skin.

We will supply you with after care products and advice to help protect your skin and speed up the healing process. One week on, you may see redness and slight swelling - these are normal side effects and only temporary.

It's essential to stay out of the sun in the days following your treatment, as your skin will be more sensitive as a result of the exposure to the laser. If you do need to go outside, make sure you have applied plenty of sunscreen and wear a hat and shades for added protection.

How many treatments do I need?

To ensure long-lasting results, it's best to have a course of treatments (which is available on Reformaskin). Over a year, we would typically recommend 3-4 treatments as well as a range of conditioning treatments to help compliment the effects of the laser.
